IC 1295 is a planetary nebula (PN) in the constellation Scutum. The object is about 4.700 light years away and was discovered by T. Safforf in 1867. The nebula consists of several concentric gas shells, that glow mainly in a bluish color, because of the ultraviolet radiation of the central star.
