In Austria, too, the Milky Way can be observed in good dark locations. The overwhelming impression remains due to the geographical height. Even so, the northernmost parts of the Scorpius and Sagittarius can be made out. In addition, the two large gas planets Jupiter and Saturn appear in the picture (to the left of the Milky Way).
